Our hugely popular traditional Sunday Carvery, which was introduced around four years ago, is still available and this is operated in tandem with Indian Sunday Lunches, both at very attractive prices.

During the spring and summer months the ‘Forest Bar-B-Q’s’ continue to be very much in evidence, and are very well attended.

Smoking customers are catered for with a dedicated deck seating area which includes a giant parasol, heating and lighting.

Last year the ‘Forest’ broadened its activities with the introduction of the ‘Bengal Forest’, a first-class Indian restaurant, which is situated upstairs in the pub’s comfortable 42-seater dining room.

The dining room has been tastefully refurbished and a full menu of authentic Indian and Bangladesh cuisine is available for diners, in addition to a ‘takeaway service’ and free home delivery within a three mile radius of the ‘Forest’.

The ‘Bengal Forest’ menu is extensive, varied and reasonably priced, with many unique dishes which are peculiar to specific regions of India proving extremely popular with the patrons. Of particular interest are the Chef’s Recommendations and the delicious Tandoori Specialities.
